I'm taking a break from incessant pleading for signatures on the BfAZ peition for a humorous piece on the right-wing Jewish echo chamber. I did a post on the last week that was a bit more substantive, which you can read here.
This one is just a hilarious email, which reads:
I think it is highly appropriate at this time of the year that we send THANKS to all of the countries that have reciprocated for our help with their disasters, misgivings, social turmoil, & poverty by returning the favor, and sending the United States of America monetary and physical help when Sandy ravaged our East Coast leaving dead, homelessness, and pure disaster.

Listed below are a list of the countries and worldwide organizations that are providing to us their gracious assistance. Please assist me in thanking these entities by passing on this email so people from all over America can join in and THANK our friends:

Believe it or not, these people actually believe this shit, and they forward the emails on without even the slightest doubt as to their accuracy.
Of course, it's not true. It took me a minute or so to find this piece, which lists a few of the countries contributing to Sandy relief, and also mentions that 118 countries helped in the wake of Katrina, including Qatar, one of those scary, scary Muslim countries, which gave a cool $100 Million.
But what struck me as so hilarious about the email is the thought of Israel helping out the US in a time of need. Isn't that the equivalent of a kid using his allowance to buy his dad a present? They're using our aid dollars to them to help us out, and their acolytes in the AIPAC world are blasting emails about their generosity.
This AIPAC crowd is like a freaking MasterCard commercial -- priceless.
