Mind you, I'm not saying reading Goldwater Institute emails will cause brain damage, but it could if the Institute's lies and misstatements and innuendos make you so enraged you burst a blood vessel up there.
Take G.I.'s recent email, "Proposition 204 Could Cost Arizona's Private Sector 15,000 New Jobs." Well, I suppose it's possible renewing the sales tax will cost jobs, if you believe the conservative Beacon Hill Institute that created an economic model saying, basically, any tax hike costs jobs. But in the real world . . .
We currently have the same one cent sales tax. Brewer and her cronies have been crowing about Arizona's economic recovery, how much extra money is flowing into the state coffers. And that happened even though the sales tax that's been in operation for almost three years could have cost Arizona jobs. Guess it didn't.
I better quit here. I can feel a blood vessel bulging somewhere.
