The Martha McSally CD2 campaign has released an internal poll for the campaign conducted by Wes Anderson of OnMessage Inc. which claims she is tied with Rep. Ron Barber.
Barber: 47.3 percent McSally: 47.3 percent Undecided: 5.2 percent.
The push poll was conducted Sept. 30-Oct. 1. The live telephone interview survey polled 400 likely general election voters with a margin of error of 4.9 points.
I say push poll because OnMessage Inc. has conducted illegal push polling in the past for which it has had to pay a fine in settlement in New Hampshire. OnMessage, Inc. to Pay $15,000 Under Consent Agreement For Push Polling Complaint:
Attorney General Michael Delaney announced today his Office has reached a settlement agreement with OnMessage, Inc. ("OnMessage") following complaints that the company was engaged in push polling in a manner that violated New Hampshire's push polling law. Under the terms of the Consent Agreement, OnMessage will pay the State $15,000 to settle the dispute.
The State has alleged that OnMessage was hired by the 2010 Guinta for Congress campaign and wrote the push poll script used in the 400 calls that were made to New Hampshire residents in September 2010.
Guinta for Congress would be Republican Frank Guinta (R-NH). Frank Guinta (R-NH) | CREW's Most Corrupt Members of Congress: Beginning in 2009, Rep. Guinta made several shady loans to his campaign committee, claiming the money was his own despite an income that seemed to preclude that possibility.
Nice friends you got there, Martha. I don't give much credibility to this poll.
