Seriously? The Tucson Weekly has a blog post about how hate radio host Jon Justice has his knickers in a twist and is clutching his pearls over a statement that Rep. Ron Barber made that the GOP is "essentially a bunch of white guys." Oh the horrors! Ron Barber Said Something Dumb — But He Wasn't Incorrect. Why is it news every time Jon Justice has a manufactured outrage fainting spell?
Newt Gingrich's presidential campaign manager and long-time GOP consultant Ed Rollins told Fox News in July of this year:
Rollins: "It is a bunch of old, white guys, and unfortunately, a lot of them are fat like me -- like Haley Barbour, my former deputy, and others. We need to basically broaden the base, we need to have more women, we need to have more Latinos, we need to have more African-Americans."
Ed Rollins ought to know.
