I got my latest "Dear Fellow Republican" fundraising letter from Mitt Romney. Now, I know people say Mitt is short on specifics about his policies, so I read through the voluminous Obama bashing in the letter, and I found what Mitt stands for . . .
"a new path of conservative, commonsense policies based on the principles of freedom, growth and renewal."
I don't see how you could be much clearer or more specific than that.
I also learned why it's so important for me to contribute to the Republican cause. It's because . . .
"the Democrats are raising money hand-over-fist from Big Labor Bosses, Hollywood stars, and the Washington liberal elite."
[snip]
"[Our] success depends upon the help of committed Republicans like you. We don't have the financial backing the other side does . . . yet."
The Republicans, financial underdogs as always. How can the investments contributions from their corporate friends hope to match the money the liberal Democratic moneybags are pouring into the coffers of the Europe-style socialists who want to ruin our country?
