This is a must attend meeting for all Democratic precinct committeepersons in Pima County:
Saturday, April 14, 9:00 a.m: Pima County Democratic Party Reorganization Meeting, at Amphi High School, 125 W. Yavapai Road (East of Oracle Road at Prince Road). New Legislative District Organizations (LDs 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 14) within Pima County. HQ will be responsible for looking up all current PC's and to inform them of their correct new Precincts and Legislative Districts. At this meeting, the new LD committees will elect officers and make arrangements to adopt bylaws and to file new Committee status with the Secretary of State. Registration 9:00-9:30 a.m., meeting begins promptly at 9:30 a.m. Please note that the Arizona Revised Statutes call for the old LD Committees to remain intact until final settlement of the 2012 restricting procedure. This will be necessary so that the "old" District Committees can make arrangements for distribution of money in their treasuries to the new District Committees. We will have petition and affidavit forms available for PC's to obtain their signatures and file to run in in their new LD's for the 2013-2014 term. For more information please contact PimaDem@PimaDems.org or (520) 326-3716.
