DCSRA Grand Opening of Green Valley HQ
June 26, 3:00 p.m.: The Democratic Club of the Santa Rita Area will have a grand opening party at its Green Valley headquarters, in the courtyard at the Continental Mall Plaza, 230 W. Continental Road (Green Valley). Several local and state political candidates are expected to attend, including special guests U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and Attorney General and governor candidate Terry Goddard. The festivities will include music, refreshments, and tours of the Headquarters, located in the Mall next to the CVS store. This is the first year round Headquarters for the Democratic Party in the Green Valley area, and will be a space for voter registration and candidate information, phone banking and canvassing, and a variety of activities aimed at the election of Democratic candidates locally and at the state and national level.
