Obama is an enemy of humanity. It must be true. Trent Franks said so.
UPDATE: Franks didn't mean to say Obama is an enemy of humanity.
Bethany Haley, spokeswoman for Franks, said the congressman was referring to "unborn humanity" and should have clarified his statement.
Ah. Obama is an enemy of unborn humanity. That clarifies things.
A NOTE FROM DR. WORD: I know a little bit about the rhythm of language. When you actually leave a word out of a sentence, the sentence sounds as good or better with the word added. This sentence sounds awful with the word "unborn" added.
A president that has lost his way that badly, that has no ability to see the image of God in these little fellow human beings, if he can't do that right, then he has no place in any station of government and we need to realize that he is an enemy of [unborn] humanity.
Uh uh. It's a nicely crafted sentence until you put in "unborn." Doesn't work. He meant it the way he said it. He got caught, and he's trying to lie his way out of it. That says to me that Franks "has no place in any station of government." But that's just me. (Though he's probably not an enemy of humanity. At least so far as I know.)
