education.

The Arizona state Legislature convened a special session today and is trying
to ram through a $128 million cut to public education. The cut would be $120
for each traditional public school student and $40 for every charter school
student.  
The Leadership (Bob Burns-President of the Senate) and Kirk Adams (Speaker
of the House) are counting on our new governor, Jan Brewer, to sign off on
this tomorrow [Friday].

Call Gov. Jan Brewer's office immediately at 1-800-253-0883 ( the prompt
will have you push "1") and urge her to NOT sign this legislation.

Let her know that our children and our state can't take another cut to
public education.  

Governor Brewer is the priority call.
