Arizona budget woes make Huffington Post

Beginning with the headline, Napolitano Departs, AZ GOP Cannibalizes Education to Meet Budget Shortfall, Dawn Teo tells the saga of the Arizona budget on HuffPo in detail, all the way to Paul Eckerstrom's becoming Chair of the AZ Dem Party. She ends the story with this quote from Eckerstrom's speech:

As Democrats, we need to work hard to educate the public that these drastic cuts will set our state back dramatically. Strong schools build the foundation for a strong state -- not just tomorrow, but 20 years down the road.

I don't know Teo, but her bio says that she is a "former lifelong Republican" who lives in Arizona.
